Taxiphyllin là một cyanogenic glycoside, khi thủy phân sẽ sinh ra acid hydrocyanic có khả năng gây ngộ độc lên con người. Một số nghiên cứu đã phát hiện taxiphyllin trong lá cây cẩm tú cầu và trong măng. Trong nghiên cứu này, phương pháp sắc ký lỏng khối phổ hai lần (LC-MS/MS) với nguồn ion hóa phun điện tử chế độ âm được ứng dụng để xây dựng và thẩm định nhằm xác định taxiphyllin trong măng. Pha động bao gồm kênh A là acid formic 0,1% trong H2O, kênh B là acid formic 0,1% trong acetonitril; cột sắc ký pha đảo Kinetex Coreshell C18 (3,0 mm x 150 mm; 2,6 µm). Giới hạn phát hiện (LOD) và giới hạn định lượng (LOQ) của phương pháp đối với taxiphyllin lần lượt là 0,15 mg/kg và 0,4 mg/kg. Đường chuẩn xác định taxiphyllin được xây dựng trong khoảng từ 5,0 – 100,0 ng/mL. Phương pháp có độ thu hồi 82,6 – 107,0%, độ lặp lại trong ngày với độ lệch chuẩn tương đối là 4,74 - 7,46%, đáp ứng theo yêu cầu của Hiệp hội hợp tác phân tích chính thức (AOAC) 2016 và quy định của Châu Âu (EU 2021/808). Phương pháp đã được áp dụng để phân tích hàm lượng taxiphyllin trong 08 mẫu măng được mua trên địa bàn Hà Nội.
