Abstract

The objectives of this study is to describe the knowledge, practice and analyze factors affected with food safety of village medical staffs at Khanh Hoa province in 2023. A crosssectional descriptive study which was conducted on 401 village medical staffs at Khanh Hoa province in 2023. The percentage of village medical staffs with good knowledge and practice of food safety is 46.4% and 36.7%, respectively. Knowledge and practice of food safety was associated significantly with being female and has been trained about food safety before (p<0.05). The current state of knowledge and practice of food safety among village health workers is still limited. Therefore, it is necessary to recommend plans and programs in improving knowledge among village medical staffs about food safety.
